Board Purpose:

The Policy Steering Committee provides guidance, promotes transparency and awareness, facilitates communication and provides informative recommendations to the chancellor regarding the proposals for Policy Action. The Operational Policy Facilitator is charged with supporting the Policy Steering Committee, serving as a resource for Proposal Sponsors and Responsible Administrators, and for maintaining the electronic NMSU Policy Library. The Operational Policy Facilitator works with the Policy Steering Committee to prioritize and guide Policy Action proposals through coordination, facilitation and monitoring, including cyclic reviews.
